Ok we have to admit that when we came across this article we did have a little laugh. Although, the author does make a point.
Dr. Paul Kelley, a researcher at Oxford University made some keen observations about our Circadian Rhythm and how at the turn of the 20th century the manufacturing industry created the 8-hour work day so they could in turn have three 8-hour shifts to maximize a 24/7 factory plan.
This obviously did not affect everyone as some people have biological timers that naturally wake them up at 6am per se. However, his point was that allowing ‘nature to run its course’ is superior to alarm clocks!
Whether he is on to something or not, can we all just agree that waking up later everyday sounds awesome?!
